More than a millennium ago, Sei Shonagon, a lady-in-waiting at the Japanese imperial court, jotted down her general observations in what became known as The Pillow Book. The observations inlcuded lists if things like “pleasing things” and “things that have lost their power”. In that tradition, here is the start of “things that should not be dropped”:
1. watches
2. face powder compacts
3. eye shadows
4. the little loose screw in your glasses’ frame
5. your bundle
Contributions welcome.
